Web Hosting Hub is a US shared hosting brand that launched in 2010 and still sells plans under its own name at webhostinghub.com. It is the budget-friendly sister brand of InMotion Hosting: the site lists InMotion Hosting dedicated and bare metal servers as its strategic partners, loads InMotion’s analytics, and publishes the same Virginia Beach headquarters address (2 Constitution Drive) that InMotion uses. The legal entity on the site is Web Hosting Hub, Inc. The product line is deliberately small: three cPanel shared hosting plans called Spark, Nitro and Dynamo, plus domains and the BoldGrid website builder.

Who Web Hosting Hub is for

• Beginners who want a simple cPanel account with WordPress pre-installed at checkout.
• Small businesses and bloggers who value 24/7 phone support and a long refund window.
• Owners of a few low to medium traffic sites who do not need VPS or dedicated resources.

It is not a fit if you need a VPS, cloud or dedicated server from the same account, data centers outside the US, or published CPU and NVMe specifications.

Pricing and renewals

All three plans are offered on 1, 2 or 3-year terms, and the lowest monthly rate is on the 3-year term. Spark costs $5.99/mo against a regular price of $11.99/mo, Nitro is $7.99/mo (regular $15.49/mo) and Dynamo is $9.99/mo (regular $20.49/mo). Shorter terms cost more per month: Spark is $6.99/mo on 2 years and $7.99/mo on 1 year, Nitro is $8.99/mo and $9.99/mo, and Dynamo is $10.99/mo and $11.99/mo. The whole term is paid upfront.

The pricing table does not spell out renewal rates. It shows the regular price crossed out next to the promo price, and the Terms of Service say accounts auto-renew at the company’s then-current rates. In practice, budget for something close to the regular price when your first term ends, which roughly doubles the cost of Spark and Dynamo.

Plans and features

Spark, Nitro and Dynamo

Every plan includes a free domain, free SSL, SSD storage, unlimited disk space and bandwidth (under the Terms of Service), unlimited email accounts, SSH access, Softaculous with 400+ one-click apps and the BoldGrid drag-and-drop builder. Spark is limited to 2 websites, 10 databases, 5 parked domains and 25 subdomains. Nitro and Dynamo remove those limits and are described as offering 2x and 4x the performance of Spark, with more memory, processes and I/O. Nitro and Dynamo also let you pick an East Coast or West Coast data center, while Spark does not offer that choice.

Backups, transfers and eCommerce

Automatic daily cPanel backups are an add-on at $1/mo on every plan; otherwise you create backups yourself with the built-in tool. Free website transfers cover cPanel accounts up to 5 GB or up to three sites or databases, with a fee for larger moves. Shopping carts such as PrestaShop, OpenCart and Magento can be installed in one click, and WordPress or PrestaShop can be pre-installed during checkout.

How it differs from InMotion Hosting

InMotion Hosting, which we review separately, is the broader platform: NVMe shared plans, VPS, dedicated and bare metal servers, and data centers in Los Angeles, Ashburn and Amsterdam. Web Hosting Hub only sells shared hosting, uses SSD rather than NVMe in its plan descriptions, and keeps a simpler three-plan menu. Both brands share the 90-day money-back guarantee and cPanel-based accounts. InMotion’s entry shared plan currently shows a lower promo price on a 12-month term, so compare the two carefully before buying; Web Hosting Hub’s main appeal is its unlimited resource wording and a straightforward setup for beginners.

Data centers

Web Hosting Hub says it has two US data center locations, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. Its about page states the company started in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and expanded to a data center in Los Angeles, California. There are no non-US locations.

Support and guarantees

Support is available 24/7 by live chat, phone and email, with a US phone line at 757-416-6627. On the plan table, Spark lists live chat support only, while Nitro and Dynamo add phone support. The homepage mentions a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The 90-day money-back guarantee refunds hosting fees, but domain, SSL and domain privacy fees are not refundable, and a free domain is deducted from the refund at the current registration price plus a $5 fee.

Things to be aware of

Much of the marketing copy looks old. Pages still show a notice about outdated browsers and Google Chrome Frame, link to a Google+ profile, and mention PHP 5, MySQL 5 and CentOS. That does not prove the servers are outdated, but it does mean the site is not a reliable guide to the current software stack, so confirm PHP versions with sales before migrating. The plan resource chart is also inconsistent about memory limits, showing two different values for each plan.

Verdict

Web Hosting Hub is still a working, InMotion-backed shared host with cPanel, 24/7 support and a generous 90-day refund window. Its limitations are a shared-only product line, dated and sometimes contradictory plan details, and regular prices that roughly double after the first term. It suits beginners who want a simple cPanel account, but most buyers should compare it with InMotion Hosting’s current shared plans first.
