Rocket.net is a managed WordPress host founded in 2020 in West Palm Beach, Florida, built around one idea: put the site behind Cloudflare Enterprise and keep everything else simple. Every plan includes the enterprise CDN, the enterprise WAF, malware scanning, free SSL, daily backups and unlimited migrations, and every site is cached at 330 edge locations. In August 2025 the company announced a strategic partnership with hosting.com, and the new Toronto, Dubai and India data centers came out of that deal.

Who it is for

Rocket.net suits publishers, agencies and WooCommerce stores that want speed and security handled at the platform level and are happy to pay a flat premium for it. It is WordPress only: no other CMS, no email hosting, no root access. If you need mailboxes, a control panel with cPanel habits or a general-purpose server, look elsewhere.

Pricing and renewals

Managed plans start at $30 a month for Starter (1 site, 10 GB storage, 50 GB bandwidth), then $60 for Pro (3 sites, 20 GB, 100 GB), $100 for Business (10 sites, 40 GB, 300 GB) and $200 for Expert (25 sites, 50 GB, 500 GB). Annual billing gives two months free, which brings those to $25, $50, $83 and $166 a month. Agency tiers run in parallel from $100 a month (Tier 1: 10 sites, 50 GB storage, 200 GB bandwidth) up to $1,200 a month (Tier 8: 150 sites, 325 GB, 2,500 GB), and add the Agency Toolkit.

Rocket.net advertises $1 for the first month on all plans and states in its own words that it never raises prices at renewal. So the pattern is a $1 trial month, then the regular rate, with no second-year jump. Visitors are not metered on any plan; bandwidth and disk are.

What managed includes

The platform bundle is unusually complete for the price bracket: Cloudflare Enterprise CDN with full-page caching, tiered caching, per-device caching and image optimization; an enterprise WAF at the network layer plus a server-side firewall and real-time malware scanning; automatic WordPress updates; activity logging; free Redis; unlimited PHP workers; automated daily backups with 30-day retention; and licences for WP Rocket and WP Umbrella at no extra cost. Migrations are unlimited and free from any host, and Rocket.net says 95% complete in under 12 hours. There is also an MCP server and native integrations for AI assistants, which is a genuine differentiator if your workflow runs through one.

Performance and specs

Rocket.net does not sell vCPU or RAM per plan. It publishes the edge server spec instead – 32 or more CPU cores, 128 GB RAM, NVMe storage, unlimited PHP workers – and places those servers in internet exchanges directly peered with its edge providers. The uptime guarantee listed on every plan is 99.99%. PHP versions run from 5.6 through 8.4. Treat vendor speed claims as marketing: we have not benchmarked the platform.

Data centers

The pricing FAQ says ten hosting locations across the US, Europe and Asia, and the network page groups them as North America, Europe, Australia and Asia without naming every city. The company’s own announcements confirm a Phoenix, Arizona data center and newer sites in Toronto, Dubai and India. Caching and security sit on top of that at 330 edge points of presence worldwide, so visitor-facing latency depends far more on the edge than on the origin.

Support and refunds

Support is 24/7/365 through live chat and tickets from inside the control panel, staffed by WordPress engineers; Rocket.net advertises a 45-second chat response and six minutes by email. There is no phone line. The money-back guarantee is 30 days on all services except Enterprise plans, and accounts can be cancelled from the portal at any time.

Verdict

Rocket.net is one of the cleaner deals in premium managed WordPress: the entry plan costs less than the equivalent at Kinsta or WP Engine, visitors are unmetered, and Cloudflare Enterprise is included rather than sold as a security add-on. The limits to watch are storage, which is tight at 10-20 GB on the small plans, and bandwidth, which is the metered resource here. For a WordPress-only shop that wants the edge done for it, it is worth a shortlist spot.
